If you unexpectedly have a hole in a tooth or if a piece has broken off, we can often remedy this with a filling to prevent further problems. The affected part of the tooth is drilled first. When the tooth is clean and dry, the tooth can be filled. This is done using a composite, which is tooth-colored. Of course, this can also be done under anaesthetic.
Anesthetic & rubber dam during treatment
Many people are afraid of a dental procedure. At Dental Practice Margarida Cardoso we understand that. We will try to put you at ease. In some situations, such as fillings, extractions or tooth extraction, anesthetic provides a good outcome. As a result, you will not experience any pain during a treatment.
We also use a rubber dam (cofferdam) for treatments that require anesthetic. This is a piece of cloth that is applied around the teeth so that it remains clean and dry and you can work neatly.
